John Wilwol, a man who rarely talks about himself in the third person, is a health care content strategist and freelance writer living in Washington D.C.
His work has appeared in The New York Times Book Review, The Washington Post, The San Francisco Chronicle, Newsday, NPR, and other places. And although he is a proud member of the National Book Critics Circle and a former literature teacher, John does not own a single corduroy blazer.
He used to post his losing New Yorker cartoon caption contest losers here because they were hilarious.

Love the comment about the blazer.
